Is this the George Graves I'm looking for?

Could my George Graves have fought in the War of 1812?

This George was working for the Lower Canada Militia.

Was he a Quatermaster? And what is a Quartermaster?

Did he have a brother, cousin, nephew, uncle named Jacob?
